AeroLume
The air traffic
software layer
nobody has built.
$12.5B is already funding new radar, radios, and fiber for the U.S. National Airspace System. None of it has been asked to think yet. AeroLume is the cognitive layer — fusing, predicting, and routing on top of the hardware already being installed.

Hardware is funded.
Intelligence isn’t.
The government is rebuilding the physical nervous system of American air traffic control. It has not yet chosen who builds the software that turns that hardware into safer, less fatigue-dependent decisions.
Aging infrastructure, new money
Radar and radio equipment in parts of the network predate modern fiber networking. The FAA and DOT are now funding a hardware rebuild — but hardware alone doesn’t fix how controllers decide.
Short on people, not just equipment
The FAA remains roughly 3,000 controllers short of target staffing. That shows up as fatigue, mandatory overtime, and reduced margin for error — problems software can soften before hiring closes the gap.
A data-sharing failure, documented
The NTSB’s February 2026 report on the fatal January 2025 midair collision near Washington Reagan National found agencies did not share proximity and “close call” data effectively — a data and analytics gap, not only an equipment one.
Five modules.
One operating picture.
Deployable independently, so an early win doesn’t wait for a national rollout. Built cloud-native, with an on-prem/edge option for FAA and DoD security requirements.
Cross-agency data fusion into one real-time common operating picture, with a standardized event taxonomy across FAA, military, weather, and airline feeds.
ML-based conflict and close-call prediction, minutes ahead of today’s conformance-based alerts, with confidence-scored, explainable output.
Decision support and fatigue-aware workload management for controllers — advisory-only, sequenced in after Unify and Sentinel earn trust.
A digital twin of regional airspace that simulates weather-driven rerouting and sector rebalancing to cut ground stops and delay-minutes.
Forward-looking congestion and demand forecasting across the airspace network, minutes to hours ahead of the traffic actually arriving.
A working console,
not a mockup.
The Unify + Sentinel loop runs — live in your browser, using real public flight-tracking data, computing genuine separation math, not a canned animation.
Live OpenSky Network ADS-B positions and aviationweather.gov METAR data — real feeds, opt-in, with a self-contained simulated tracker as the default.
About Us →A software company.
Not a hardware program.
Every component scales with contracted workload instead of a fixed capital purchase — cheaper and faster to stand up than a physical buildout, and without hardware residual-value risk before there’s a paying, accredited customer.
Streaming ingestion
Radar, ADS-B, weather, and flight-plan feeds absorbed continuously on a durable event backbone, federated against the FAA’s existing SWIM service.
Elastic compute
Unify’s fusion pipeline and Flow’s simulations run on auto-scaling orchestration — capacity grows with facilities under management, not a hardware order.
Latency-sized ML inference
Sentinel’s conflict prediction runs on GPU-backed endpoints sized to a latency SLA, not a fixed accelerator count.
Multi-zone redundancy
No single data center or rack is a single point of failure — the reliability model a safety-relevant system requires.
Accredited deployment
The same containers run in a commercial cloud region for an airline, or a government-accredited enclave for an FAA/DoD pilot.
Built on what exists
SWIM, ASTERIX, FIXM, and ERAM’s existing conflict-alert precedent — modernizing accepted capabilities, not inventing new ones.
Land. Expand. Export.
Government validation first — the credibility signal every later buyer will ask for.
Land
- Pilot at 3–5 high-priority facilities via an OTA or IDIQ vehicle
- Prove the case on metrics regulators already track: close-call rate, delay-minutes, workload
Expand
- Convert pilot results into a production award under BNATCS’s software workstream
- Launch Flow as commercial SaaS, priced against measurable delay and fuel savings
Export
- License Unify and Sentinel to allied ANSPs on similar modernization timelines
- Capture share of the global $21.4B air traffic management market
